Tracy Ashton - Principal trainer and coach
Her first management role in the early 1990s saw her embark on an ailing recruitment business in the South West of England with the remit to reverse its month on month losses into a profitable operation. It went on to grow into the largest office of the business and led to her promotion to Regional Director. Finding her training feet outside of corporate and operational life, she began freelance training, delivering pre-designed courses. Through recommendations, she had built a direct client base and collaborations with other quality trainers; and so the brand willow training services Ltd. was born. The philosophy for willow is to inspire, educate and empower. Frequently the feedback tells Tracy that her gentle approach together with her ability to share real life experiences, brings a unique and long lasting edge to her training. Tracy is a qualified NLP Practitioner accredited through the CIPD, is a member of the Association for Coaching and plays an active role in her local Chamber of Commerce. Never one to rest on her success, Tracy and her partner Paul set up a new business in 2010 driven by her other passion 'Newfoundland dogs'. The online shop specialises in products for the larger dog: www.bigondogs.co.uk

Throughout her life she has watched “what makes things happen” and how people get the results they want. She is continually testing theories and techniques and pushing boundaries to find new ways to develop and share her experiences. Phillippa studied Human Performance in sport, dance and art at St. John’s College York and then Performance Psychology at Loughborough University. Putting the theory into practice, along with a lot of training, she competed at Sprint hurdles for the South of England and for Great Britain in Bobsleigh. After lecturing in Sport Psychology and Coaching at Manchester Metropolitan University, and writing for the Sunday Telegraph she made the jump into full time broadcasting. Presenting network television for GMTV and the BBC gave Phillippa another arena in which to study how people become high achievers in this very competitive field. Phillippa is continually updating her knowledge by attending conferences and Master classes with the best trainers in the world. Phillippa has helped many of her corporate teams to win substantial contracts, recently facilitating a successful bid for a client for a £750 million project. Phillippa's intuitive and empathetic approach is complemented by rigorous coaching and training disciplines. Her keen eye for evaluating the most effective 'next step' for her clients has led to a reputation for achieving results way beyond the expectations of her clients. She has been a positive influence on the direction and ongoing development of Willow and we're delighted that her expertise is now incorporated within both the develolpment and delivery arms of Willow Training Services.
