Overview Willow Training services – Our business,Our people

Because we recognise that choosing a training partner is a big decision, we’ll share our values with you and how that translates into our client relationships. We’ll introduce you to relevant team members, partners and associates, so you can get a sense of how we fit your business.

Here’s a sneak preview…

Our expertise is driven by a passion for ongoing learning, continuing to build our capacity to develop others by working with our own personal development plans. Within the team we have certified coaches, NLP Practitioners and Master Practitioners.  We are members of peer to peer learning groups and forums and are able to offer accredited training programmes with the CMI and ILM.  Dr Stephen R Covey, Sir John Whitmore, John Adair, Joseph O’Connor and the FISH philosophy are amongst our library of resources, all supporting the ultimate content of training programmes written for our clients.

Overview  – Your business, Your people

It’s important that we demonstrate we’ve listened to you and ‘get’ your business. This part of the proposal is a chance to sense check that we’ve understood you, your people and your business accurately.

Here’s an extract from a genuine proposal:

Whilst working through the re-shaping of the XXXX strategy (which is ongoing), there has been little consistency in delivering personal development. It’s recognised that this needs to be formalised, which can then govern the correct learning and development intervention.

It’s recognised that at this stage a full training needs analysis is advisable to ensure the correct training measures are implemented. However, given that training has been adhoc and the cultural behaviours are yet to be exhibited across the business, there are a number of generic training sessions that can help the immediate development and performance throughout the operational teams.
We are pleased that your preference is to engage in training solutions that provide that ‘in-house’ feel, as it suits our usual way of working with clients.

Recommended Learning and Development Interventions

This is where we show our capabilities!

Typically, we’ll phase the recommendations for the short, medium and long term, steering the final learning interventions towards an individual, team and company appropriate programme.   This may include Organisational Development and Human Resources policy and procedural suggestions.

We place considerable emphasis on providing a programme that suits your needs, rather than fitting in with existing content available to Willow Training Services.  We’ll help you consider what you want to achieve and what this will change in your business, ensuring it remains appropriate in providing the foundations for business and personal growth.

Supporting Documentation – for greater comprehension of recommendations; for example: Behavioural Competencies, Continuing Professional/PersonalDevelopment (CPD) and Sample Training Needs Analysis

Once we start working with you we keep in regular contact with periodic reviews to ensure there is consistent alignment between learning intervention and the business strategy.

We find that our relationship often begins with training courses to a wider audience within the business, developing into smaller workshop – subject specific needs and 1-2-1 coaching.
